About the Designer:
Created by Australian Designer Ryan Hanrahan, Studio Societa is a new platform for him to play and create. All pieces featured are designed and made by the studio and are available for order. Studio Societa is excited to work with like minded creatives, and are always open to customization and collaboration.
Ryan Hanrahan studied Fine Arts at University and gradually side stepped through the Graphic Arts toward Furniture and Object design.
Ryan launched Wellness brand Addition Studio in 2010. The brand has gained international praise for cross polinating a minmalist design aesthetic with traditional, natural and alternate apothecary. Addition Studio is recognised as the first Designer Wellness brand, and has been presented in many of the worlds top retail stores including Selfirdges London, Kith Store Paris, Goodhood London, and Goop USA. Following the sale of Addition Studio in 2023 Ryan has continued as Creative Director part time.
Ryan Hanrahan is still a prolific Graphic & Visual Artist. His sketch books are filled daily with free flowing forms that drift from graphic, to object, to sculpture. He is a skilled daydreamer.
Ryan is an avid surfer, ocean swimmer & meditator.
